| Club announcements- Easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 23rd at 9:30am. Concert at the Res on Saturday, May 14th Taste of Lafayette on Tuesday, May 17 Happy Dollars Geoff was happy to receive plush carpeting from Larry B for his dogs. Daniel Barnes gave a few bucks for having his Rotary pin. Erin McCoin happy to have John Sherry as his “good” neighbor. Larry Blodgett gave $10 for the “Replace the eagle fund.” Followed by Chuck who added a few more dollars for the same fund. Jesse Wellen happy to have a few grandchildren on the way. Must be something in the water. Larry D has an upcoming birthday and just bought a Lexus. WHO AAHH! Geoff Zimmerman turned himself in for a double whammy: birthday and anniversary. Speakers- Alicia Cragholm- Native of the East Bay Area. She mentioned her affinity for Lafayette, and how it started when working at Wells Fargo Bank at the corner of Happy Valley and Mt. Diablo. She is the first generation American in her family. Her interests include; personal finance, travel, walking the Lafayette Reservoir, and being a Rotarian. Currently, she enjoys being involved with Junior Achievement, which promotes financial literacy among students. She works as a financial advisor for Morgan Stanley Smith Barney and even offered free financial reviews for anyone interested. Dino Riggio- Dino was born and raised in Lafayette and is a third generation Lafayette resident. He has one sister Deanna who lives in Pacific Beach. His grandmother Nona Riggo is still living in Lafayette and his father enjoys tending to his garden and making vinegar. He attended law school at JFK University. He is currently a broker/owner at Area Pro Realty. Need to buy or sell a home call Dino. Daniel Barnes-Continued his conversation from last week about Rotisserie Baseball. He related financial management to playing Rotisserie Baseball to help members have a better understanding of the game and its role in helping students learn. Raffle- Mike Henn won both drawings!
